WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 1st day of September,
1982.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 99.80 acres
situate at Ho in the Ho District
in the Volta Region of the
Republic of Ghana lying to the
South of the Parade Ground, the
Armoury Guard Room and adjoining
the Southern Edge of the Motor
Road from Ho to Takla and bounded
on the North-west by the said
Motor Road from Ho to Takla
measuring on that side 2,425 feet
more or less on the North-east by
an open space and measuring on
that side 2,270 feet more or less
on the South-east by an open space
and measuring on that side 2,140
feet more or less and on the
South-west by an open space
measuring 1,665 feet more or less
which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 9719/70455 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
