WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 18th day of August,
1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 4.21 acres
situate at Dormaa-Ahenkro in the
Brong-Ahafo Central District in
the Brong-Ahafo Region of the
Republic of Ghana lying to the
North of Agyeman Badu Middle
School and to the South of the
motor road from Ivory Coast to
Berekum and bounded on the
North-east by an open space and
measuring on that side 380 feet
more or less on the South-east
partly by the site for Ghana
Commercial Bank and partly by an
open space and measuring on that
side 530 feet more or less on the
South-west by an unnamed road and
measuring on that side 280 feet
more or less and on the west by an
unnamed road and measuring on that
side a total distance of 530 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD.9686/67233 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
