WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 28th day of November,
1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 0.49 acre
situate at Asamankese in the South
Akim Abuakwa District of the
Eastern Region of the Republic of
Ghana lying to the North-west of
the Post Office and to the North
of and adjoining the Northern edge
of the motor road from Kade to
Accra and bounded on the
North-west by an open space and
measuring on that side 180 feet
more or less on the North-east by
an open space and measuring on
that side 145 feet more or less on
the South-east by an unnamed road
and measuring on that side a total
distance of 180 feet more or less
and on the South-west by the said
motor road from Kade to Accra and
measuring on that side 90 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD.9754/73068 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
