WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125), this Instrument is
made this 26th day of January,
1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land
excluding the " Caption " and
containing an approximate area of
247.97 acres situate at Kpetoe in
the Ho District in the Volta
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the South of Kpetoe Town
and to the South-west and
adjoining the South-western edge
of the main motor road from Kpetoe
to Dzodze and bounded on the North
by an open space and measuring on
that side a total distance of
1,666 feet more or less on the
North-east partly by the said main
motor road from Kpetoe to Dzodze
and partly by open space and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 3,714 feet more or
less on the South-east by open
space and measuring on that side a
total distance of 1,839 feet more
or less on the South by an open
space and measuring on that side a
total distance of 2,916 feet more
or less and on the West partly by
a road and partly by an open space
and measuring on that side a total
distance of 4,644 feet more or
less which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD.9639/59896 attached hereto
and thereon shewn edged pink.
