WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 15th day of July, 1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 3.84 acres
situate at Nankese in the South
Akim Abuakwa District in the
Eastern Region of the Republic of
Ghana lying to the North-western
side of the motor road from Suhum
to Nankese and is about 980 feet
on the South-west of Mile Post 49
and bounded on the North-east by
open space and measuring on that
side 265 feet on the South-east by
the side motor road from Suhum to
Nankese and measuring on that side
500 feet on the South-west by open
space and measuring on that side
265 feet and on the North-west by
open space and measuring on that
side 500 feet which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD.9437/61694 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
