WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 15th day of July, 1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 0.62 acre
situate at Nkawkaw in the South
Kwahu District in the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the South-east of the
Post Office and to the South of
and adjoining the southern edge of
the motor road from Kumasi to
Accra and bounded on the
North-east by the said motor road
from Kumasi to Accra and measuring
on that side 123 feet more or less
on the South-east by a road and
measuring on that side 220 feet
more or less on the South-west by
a road and measuring on that side
120 feet more or less and on the
North-west by buildings and
measuring on that side 230 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD.9458/67526 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
