IN exercise of the powers
conferred on the Provisional
National Defence Council by
section 1 (1) of the State Lands
Act, 1962 (Act 125) this
Instrument is made this 18th day
of August, 1983.
The State Lands (Nsawam—Site for
Pineapple Production) Instrument,
1977 (E.I. 31) is hereby amended
by the substitution for the
Schedule thereto of the following
new Schedule:
“SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 595.30
acres situate at Nsawam in the
Nsawam District in the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the West of the Nsawam
Water Works and to the North of
the public cemetery and the Roman
Catholic Mission and bounded on
the North-west by the Ntoa river
and measuring on that side 8,330
feet more or less on the East by
the main motor road from Nsawam
town to Kumasi and measuring on
that side a total distance of
4,880 feet more or less on the
South-east by the Food Processing
Factory and an open space and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 3,530.6 feet more or
less on the South-west by an open
space and measuring on that side a
total distance of 5,890 feet more
or less which piece of land is
more particularly delineated on
Plan No.LD.8959A/56655 and thereon
shewn edged pink."
