STATE LANDS (NUNGUA—SITE FOR GHANA NAUTICAL COLLEGE EXTENSION) INSTRUMENT, 1983 (EI 12).

 

WHEREAS it appears to the Provisional National Defence Council that the land described in the Schedule to this Instrument is land required in the public interest.

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Provisional National Defence Council by subsection (1) of section 1 of the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125) as amended by the State Lands Act, 1962 (Amendment) Decree, 1968 (N.L.C.D. 234) this Instrument is made this 25th day of May, 1983.

The land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared to be land required in the public interest.

SCHEDULE

All those two pieces of land marked A & B respectively and comprising an approximate, total area of 25.53 acres situate at Nungua in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana which two pieces of land are described in the following Schedule: Firstly in respect of all that piece of land marked 'A' and containing an approximate area of 20.14 acres situate at Nungua in the City of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the South of the Mokwe Lagoon and South-west of and adjoining the South-western boundary of the Tema Town and Port Acquisition and bounded on the North-west by the existing Access Road and measuring on that side 750 feet on the North-east by the said Tema Town and Port Acquisition boundary measuring on that side a total distance of 1,134.6 feet on the South-east by the existing site measuring on that side 679.3 feet and on the South-West by open space and measuring on that side 1,448 feet. Secondly in respect of all that piece of land marked 'S' containing an approximate area of 5.39 acres situate at Nungua in the Accra-Tema City Area in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the South of the Mokwe Lagoon and South-west of and adjoining the South-western boundary of the Tema Town and Port Acquisition and bounded on the North-west by open space and measuring on that side 50 feet on the North-east by the said boundary of the Tema Town and Port Acquisition measuring on that side a total distance of 709.5 feet on the South-east by the existing Access Road measuring on that side 734 feet and on the West by open space and measuring on that side 688 feet which two pieces of land marked A and B respectively are delineated on Plan LD.8122C/28574 and thereon shewn edged pink.
