WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 8th day of February,
1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 22.04 acres
situate at Obuasi in-the Obuasi
District of the Ashanti Region of
the Republic of Ghana lying to the
North of and adjoining the
Northern edge of the motor road
from Obuasi to Cape Coast and
bounded on the North by an open
space measuring 1,500 feet more or
less on the East by an open space
measuring 640 feet more or less on
the South by the said motor road
from Obuasi to Cape Coast
measuring 1,500 feet more or less
and on the West by an open space
measuring 640 feet more or less
which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD.9680/54433 attached hereto
and thereon shewn edged pink.
