WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 28th day of November,
1983.
The Land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land containing
an approximate area of 11.01 acres
situate at Suhum in the South Akim
Abuakwa District in the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the North-west of Saakwa
Mante's premises and to the
South-west of Presbyterian Primary
and Middle School site and bounded
on the North-east by an open
space, Presbyterian School and an
unnamed road and measuring on that
side 960 feet on the South-east by
an open space and private
buildings measuring on that side
551.45 feet on the South-west by
Aponpon Stream measuring on that
side 280 feet and 485 feet and on
the North-west by Aponpon Stream
and measuring on that side 180
feet and 430 feet which piece of
land is more particularly
delineated on Plan No.
LD.8450/50271 and thereon shewn
edged pink.
