WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 26th day of May, 1983.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece of land known as
Plots Nos. 75 and 79 containing an
approximate area of 2.28 acres
situate at Tamale in the Tamale
District of the Northern Region of
the Republic of Ghana lying to the
North of the Magazine and the
Disused Cemetery and to the South
of the Site for the Veterinary
Service and bounded on the
North-west by an unnamed road and
measuring on that side 795 feet
more or less on the North-east by
an Earth Drain and measuring on
that side 105 feet more or less on
the South-east by an Earth Drain
and measuring on that side 795
feet more or less and on the
South-west by Plot No. 74 and
measuring on that side 145 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan. No. LD.9693/72887 attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
