WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the schedule to this Instrument is
the land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 13th day of January,
1984.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument hereby declared
to be land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
All those two pieces of land
marked “A” and “B” containing an
approximate total area of 310.60
acres situate at Cape Coast
Nyamebekyere in the Mfantsiman
District of Central Region of the
Republic of Ghana lying astride
the motor road from Efutu to Pedu
and to the North of Famaye Village
and Babiniha Village the
boundaries whereof are as
follows:—
First, In respect of the site
marked “A” containing an
approximate area of 181.75 acres
lying to the West of and partly
adjoining the Western edge of the
said motor road from Efutu to Pedu
and bounded on the North-west by
open space and measuring on that
side a total distance of 2,508
feet more or less on the
North-east partly by the said
motor road from Efutu to Pedu and
partly by the Famaye Village and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 4,270 feet more or
less on the South-east by open
space and measuring on that side
1,240 feet more or less and on
the South-west by open space and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 3,870 feet and,
Second, In respect of the site
marked “B” containing an
approximate area of 128.85 acres
lying to the East of and adjoining
the Eastern edge of the motor road
from Efutu to Pedu and bounded on
the North-west by open space and
measuring on that side 1,540 feet
more or less on the North-east by
open space and measuring on that
side a total distance of 4,530
feet more or less on the
South-east partly by Messrs.
Tonibus Enterprise and partly by
open space and measuring on that
side a total distance of 2,212
feet more or less and on the
South-west by the said motor road
from Efutu to Pedu and measuring
on that side a total distance of
3,440 feet more or less which two
pieces of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD.9778/73439 and thereon
shewn edged pink.
