WHEREAS Wednesday, the 4th day of
June, 1986 is not a statutory
public holiday,
AND WHEREAS the PNDC has declared
the said date a holiday in
commemoration of the 7th
Anniversary of the June 4
Uprising,
NOW THEREFORE in pursuance of the
said PNDC Declaration and in
exercise of the powers conferred
on the Provisional National
Defence Council by section 2 of
the Public Holidays Decree, 1974 (NRCD
262) this Instrument is made this
30th day of May, 1986.
Wednesday, the 4th day of June,
1986 is hereby declared a public
