WHEREAS Thursday, the lst day of
May, 1986 is not a statutory
public holiday.
AND WHEREAS the PNDC has declared
the said date a holiday in
commemoration of the Centenary
Celebrations of May Day.
NOW THEREFORE in pursuance of the
said PNDC Declaration and in
exercise of the powers conferred
upon the Provisional National
Defence Council by section 2 of
the Public Holidays Decree, 1974 (NRCD
262) this Instrument is made this
29th day of April, 1986.
THURSDAY the 1st day of May, 1986
is hereby declared a Public
Holiday.
