WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by sub-section (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 28th day of July, 1986.
The Land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THOSE two pieces of land
marked as “A” and “B’ containing
an approximate total area of
103.30 acres situate at Amedzofe
in the Ho District in the Volta
Region of the Republic of Ghana
the boundaries whereof are as
follows:—
Firstly in respect of the Site
marked "A" containing an
approximate area of 51.65 acres
lying to the East of Amedzofe
Township and to the South of and
adjoining the Southern edge of the
Motor Road from Amedzofe to Kpedze
and bounded on the North by the
said Motor Road and Amedzofe to
Kpedze and measuring on that side
1,500 feet more or less on the
East by open space and measuring
on that side 1,500 feet more or
less on the South by open space
and measuring on that side 1,500
feet more or less and on the West
by open space and measuring on
that side 1,500 feet more or less
and—
Secondly in respect of the Site
marked "B" containing an
approximate area of 51.65 acres
lying to the South of Amedzofe
Township and to the East of the
Rest House and bounded on the
North by an open space and
measuring on that side 1,500 feet
more or less on the East by an
open space and measuring on that
side 1,500 feet more or less on
the South by an open space and
measuring 1,500 feet more or less
and on the West by an open space
and measuring on that side 1,500
feet more or less which two pieces
of land are more particularly
delineated on Plan No.
LD.9542/56761 and thereon shewn
edged Pink.
