STATE LANDS (ANGAW-BASIN—SITE FOR GHANA GOVERNMENT AGRICULTURAL PROJECT) INSTRUMENT, 1986 (EI 23).

 

WHEREAS it appears to the Provisional National Defence Council that the land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is land required in the public interest. 

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Provisional National Defence Council by subsection (1) of section 1 of the State Lands Act, (Act 125), this Instrument is made this 9th day of December, 1986.

The land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared to be land required in the public interest.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing an approximate area of 8467.20 acres situate at Angaw Basin in the Tongu District in the Volta Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the West of the Volta River, South of Tefle Village and to the East of Kadzanya Village and adjoining to the Western edge of the Angaw River and bounded on the North-east by an open space on the South-east by an open space on the South-west by Angaw River and on the North-west by Angaw River which piece of land is more particularly delineated on Plan No. LD.9766B/73684 attached hereto and thereon shewn edged pink.
