STATE LANDS (PAGA—SITE FOR MOTEL) INSTRUMENT, 1986 (EI 4).

 

WHEREAS it appears to the Provisional National Defence Council that the land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is land required in the public interest.

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the Provisional National Defence Council by subsection (1) of section 1 of the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is made this 17th day of April, 1986.

The land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared to be land required in the public interest.

SCHEDULE

All that piece of land containing an approximate area of 92.00 acres situate at Paga in the Kassena Nankani District in the Upper-east Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to and adjoining the South-western edge of the main motor road from Navrongo to Bourkina Faso and bounded on the North-west partly by an open space and partly by the site for Veterinary Services Quarantine and measuring on that side an approximate total distance of 1,935 feet a little more or less on the North-east by the said South-western edge of the main motor road from Navrongo to Bourkina Faso and measuring on that side a distance of 2,570 feet a little more or less on the South-east by an open space and measuring on that side a total distance of 2,810 feet a little more or less on the West by an open space and measuring on that side distance of 1,530 feet a little more or less which piece of land is more particularly delineated on Plan No. LD.9889/74796 attached hereto and thereon shown edged pink.
