WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the PNDC by
subsection (1) of section 1 of the
State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125)
this Instrument is made this 26th
day of January, 1983,
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate area of
1.90 acres situate at Saltpond in
the Mfantsiman District in the
Central Region of the Republic of
Ghana lying to the East of the
Beach Road and to the West of the
Post Office and bounded on the
North partly by private buildings
and partly by Open Space and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 820 feet more or less
on the East by an Open Space and
measuring on that side a total
distance of 387 feet more or less
on the South by an Open Space and
measuring on that side 350 feet
more or less and on the West by
private buildings and measuring on
that side 270 feet more or less
which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on the
Plan No.L.D.9634/63936 attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
