WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest:
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 2nd day of October,
1987.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest:
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land containing
an area of 0.53 acres situate at
ACCRA NEW TOWN in the City of
Accra in the Greater Accra Region
of the Republic of Ghana lying to
and adjoining the North-Western
edge of the main motor road from
Accra to New Town and to the
North-East of the West Africa
College and bounded on the
North-East by a lane and measuring
on that side a distance of 106
feet a little more or less,, on
the South-East by the said
North-Western edge of the Main
motor road from Accra to New Town
and measuring on that side a total
distance of 212 feet a little more
or less on the South-West by an
unnamed road and measuring on that
side a distance of 103 feet a
little more or less and on the
North-West by private buildings
and measuring on that side a total
distance of 213 feet a little more
or less, which piece of land is
more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD. 10022/60152 hereto
attached and thereon shewn edged
pink.
