WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the Schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 9th day of April, 1987.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land containing
an approximate area of 1.42 acres
situate at KOFORIDUA in the New
Juaben District in the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying between Queens Street and
Kings Street and to the North-East
of Town Planning bounded on the
North-West by the said Queens
street measuring on that side 228
feet on the North-East by an
unnamed road measuring on that
side 310 feet on the South-East by
the said Kings Street measuring on
that side 185 feet and on the
South-West by an unnamed road
measuring on that side 290 feet
which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 8678/60681 attached hereto
and thereon shewn edged pink.
