WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council the land specified in the
schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the Public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Land Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 2nd day of June 1987.
The land specified in the Schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE
All that pieces of land marked “A”
and “B” containing an approximate
total area of 357.54 acres situate
at Kpandu in the Kpandu District
in the Volta Region of the
Republic of Ghana the descriptions
whereof are as follows:
First in respect of all the piece
of land marked “A” containing an
approximate area of 52.066 acres
lying to and adjoining the
Northwestern edge of the main
motor road from Alakpeti to
Adiveme and bounded on the
North-west by an open space and
measuring on that side a distance
of 1,050 feet a little more or
less on the North-east by an open
space and measuring on that side a
distance of 2,160 feet a little
more or less on the South-east by
the said North-western edge of the
main motor road from Alakpeti and
measuring on that side a distance
of 1,050 feet a little more or
less and on the South-west by an
open space and measuring on that
side a distance of 2,160 feet a
little more or less and—
Second in respect of all that
piece of land marked “B”
containing an approximate area of
305.474 acres lying to the North
of the main motor road from
Alakpeti to Ateme and to the
North-west the main motor road
from Alakpeti to Adiveme and
bounded on the North-west by an
open space and measuring on that
side a distance of 3,160 feet a
little more or less on the
North-east by an open space and
measuring on that side a distance
of 4,200 feet a little more or
less on that side a distance of
3,160 feet a little more or less
and on the South-west by an open
space and measuring on that side a
distance of 4,200 feet a little
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
plan No. LD 9963/ 70275 hereto
attached and thereon shewn edged
pink.
