LAND (STATUTORY WAYLEAVES) ACCRA EAST MAMOBI UPGRADING PROGRAMME (EI 38).

 

WHEREAS the Provisional National Defence Council is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that a right of way over the land hereinafter described be created in respect of a highway.

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Provisional National Defence Council by subsection (l) of section 1 of the Lands (Statutory Wayleaves) Act, 1963 (Act 186) this Instrument is made this 26th day of August, 1988.

The land specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be land subject to a right of way as a highway to ensure to the benefit of the public generally.

S C H E D U L E S

ALL the access road network and pieces or parcels of land referred to as K-VIPS situated at East Mamobi and adjoining the Nima-Mamobi Highway in the City of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana comprising a total area of 4.08 acres the boundaries whereof as described in the schedule below—

S C H E D U L E  O N E

Firstly, in respect of the access road marked A, B, C, D, E and F containing an approximate area of 2. 07 acres and lying to the North-west of the Mamobi North Drain and South-west of Accra Girls Secondary School and measuring a total distance of 5003 feet 3 inches and a width of 18 feet more or less.

S C H E D U L E  T W O

SECONDLY, in respect of the access road marked C-E and containing an approximate area of 0.48 acre and bounded on both sides by private properties and measuring a total distance of 1151 feet 1 inch and a width of 18 feet more or less.

S C H E D U L E  T H R E E

THIRDLY, in respect of the access road marked B-J and containing an approximate area of 0.47 acre and bounded on both sides by private properties and measuring a total distance of 1144 feet 7 1/2 inches and a width of 18 feet more or less.

FOURTHLY, in respect of the access road marked K-JI and containing an approximate area of 0.31 acre and bounded on both sides by private properties and measuring a total distance of 739 feet 3.75 inches and a width of 18 feet more or less.

FIFTHLY, in respect of the access road marked JI-I and containing an approximate area of 0.11 acre bounded on both sides by private properties and measuring a total distance of 262 feet 5.5 inches and a width of 18 feet more or less.

K-VIPS

S C H E D U L E  O N E

FIRSTLY, in respect of all that piece or parcel of land marked K-VIP 1 containing an approximate area of 0.24 acre and lying to the South-west of the Accra Girls Secondary School and bounded on the North-west by private properties measuring on that side 98 feet more or less and on the South-east by the access road marked E-D measuring on that side 98 feet more or less and on the North-east by private properties measuring on that side 105 feet more or less and on the South-west by private properties measuring on that side 105 feet more or less.

SECONDLY, in respect of all that piece or parcel of land marked K-VIP 2 containing an approximate area of 0.10 acre and lying to the extreme end of the access road marked A-D and bounded on the North-west by private properties measuring on that side 59 feet more or less and on the South-east by private properties measuring on that side 59 feet more or less and on the North-east by private properties measuring on that side 72 feet more or less and on the South-west by private properties measuring on that side 72 feet more or less.

THIRDLY, in respect of all that piece or parcel of land marked K-VIP 3 containing an approximate area of 0.09 acre and lying close to the access road marked B-C and bounded on the North-west by private properties measuring on that side 59 feet more or less and on the South-east by the Earth Drain measuring on that side 59 feet more or less and on the North-east by private properties measuring on that side 65 feet more or less and on the South-west by private properties measuring on that side 65 feet more or less.

FOURTHLY, in respect of all that piece or parcel of land marked K-VIP 4 containing an approximate area of 0.09 acre and lying alongside the access road marked C-E and bounded on the North-west by private properties measuring on that side 62 feet more or less on the South-east by private properties measuring on that side 62 feet more or less and on the North-east by the access road measuring on that side 62 feet more or less and on the South-west by private properties measuring on that side 62 feet more or less.

FINALLY, in respect of all that piece or parcel of land marked K-VIP 5 containing an approximate area of 0.12 acre and lying close to the access road marked K-JI and bounded on the North-west by private properties measuring on that side 492 feet more or less on the South-east by private properties measuring on that side 49 feet more or less and on the North-east by private properties measuring on that side 72 feet more or less and on the South-west by private properties measuring on that side 72 feet more or less which access road network and piece or parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LD.10075/75349 hereto attached and thereon shewn edged pink.
