WHEREAS Wednesday, the 25th day of
May, 1988 is not a statutory
public Holiday.
AND WHEREAS, the P.N.D.C. has
declared the said date a holiday
in commemoration of the Silver
Jubilee Celebrations of the O.A.U.
NOW THEREFORE, in pursuance of the
said P.N.D.C. Declaration and in
exercise of the powers conferred
upon the Provisional National
Defence Council, by section 2 of
the Public Holidays Decree, 1974 (N.R.C.D.
262), this instrument is made this
23rd day of May, 1988.
WEDNESDAY, the 25th day of May,
1988, is hereby declared a Public
Holiday.
