WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land described in
the schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 12th day of August,
1988.
The land specified in the schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate area of
76.00 acres situate at Kumasi-Womasi
in the Kumasi West District in the
Ashanti Region of the Republic of
Ghana lying to and adjoining the
North-west of Apiri-Ewhemasi motor
road and bounded on or towards the
North by the motor road from
Kumasi and measuring 2,250 feet
more or less on or towards the
East by the said Apiri-Ewhemasi
motor road and measuring a total
distance of 2,520 feet more or
less on or towards the South-west
by a proposed road and measuring
1,860 feet more or less on or
towards the West by a proposed
road and measuring a total
distance of 1,300 feet more or
less which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 10088/75676 hereto
attached and thereon shewn edged
pink.
