WHEREAS under the provision of the
subsection (1) of section 7 of the
Administration of Lands Act, 1962
(Act 123), the Provisional
National Defence Council in the
public interest may declare any
stool land to be vested in it in
trust.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by subsection (1) of
section 7 of the Administration of
Lands Act, 1962 (Act 123) this
Instrument is made this 27th day
of September, 1989.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
vested in the Provisional National
Defence Council in trust.

ALL those piece of land or parcels
of land containing approximate
total area of 151. 68 acres and
known as Light Industrial Complex
in the city of Kumasi in the
Ashanti Region of Ghana lying to
the North of Wesley College Ground
and to the West of Mampong Road
and Tafo Nhyiaso Residential Area.
AREA ‘A’ – Bounded on the
North-east by an open space and
measuring 1,700 feet more or less
on that side on the South-east by
a proposed road and measuring 340
feet more or less on that side on
the South-west by Tarkwa Markro-Old
Tafo By-pass and measuring a total
distance of 1,450 feet on that
side on the North-west by a
proposed road measuring 365 feet
on that side thus enclosing an
approximate area of 15.40 acres.
AREA ‘B’ – Bounded on the
North-east by Old Tafo Stool land
and measuring 2,860 feet more or
less on that side on the
South-east by Mampong Road
Reservation Area and measuring 415
feet more or less on that side on
the south-west by Tarkwa markro-old
Tafo By-Pass and measuring a total
distance of 2,945 feet more or
less on that side on the
North-west by a proposed road and
measuring 350 feet more of less on
that side thus enclosing an
approximate area of 29.22 acres.
AREA ‘C’ – Bounded on or towards
the North-east by Tarkwa Markro –
Old Tafo By-pass and measuring
4,720 feet more or less on that
side on or towards the South-east
by Mampong Road Reservation Area
and Kumasi Public Cemetery and
measuring a total distance of
6,985 feet on that side on or
towards the South-west by Suame
North Residential Area and
measuring a total distance of
2,740 feet on that side on or
towards the West by Suame Fitters
Light Industrial Area and Tarkwa
Markro Township and measuring a
total distance of 4,770 feet more
or less on that side thus
enclosing an approximate area of
107.06 acres which three pieces or
parcels of land known as areas A,
B and C are more particularly
delineated on Plan No. LD
10192/77337 attached hereto and
thereon shewn edged Pink.
