WHEREAS it appears to the
Provisional National Defence
Council that the land specified in
the schedule to this Instrument is
land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the
Provisional National Defence
Council by sub-section (1) of
Section 1 of the State Lands Act,
1962 (Act 125) this Instrument is
made this 23rd day of February,
1989.
The land specified in the schedule
to this Instrument is hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
This Instrument shall be deemed to
have come into force on the 11th
day of July, 1983.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate area of
300.88 acres situate at Okrakwadwo
in the Akwapim North District in
the Eastern Region of the Republic
of Ghana lying to the South-West
of the Koforidua-Adukrom motor
road and bounded on or towards the
North by the said
Koforidua-Adukrom motor road and
measuring 4,307 feet more or less
on or towards the East by the
Ntensi river and measuring 3,452
feet more or less on or towards
the South by an open space and
measuring 4,989 feet more or less
on or towards the West by an open
space measuring 3,400 feet more or
less which piece or parcel of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD. 10159/66154 attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
