WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the schedule to this Instrument
is land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by sub-section (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
17th day of August, 1995.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land containing
an approximate area of 98.73 acres
and situate at Akim Achiase in the
Eastern Region of the Republic of
Ghana bounded on or towards the
north by an open space and
measuring a total distance of
929.9 feet on that side on or
towards the north-east by an open
space and measuring 702.1 feet on
that side on or towards the
south-east by an open space and
measuring a total distance of
2888.0 feet on that side on or
towards the south-west by an open
space and measuring a total
distance of 1288.1 feet on that
side on or towards the north-west
by Ghana Railway Line from Achiase
Junction to Akim Oda and measuring
a total distance of 2614.1 feet on
that side which piece of land is
more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD. 10008/67527 attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
