WHEREAS under the provisions of
Section (1) of section 10 of the
Administration of Lands Act, 1962
(Act 123) the President has
authorised the occupation and use
of this land described in the
schedule hereto and that it is
intended to put the said land to
use as site for a Settlement Farm.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 10 of
the Administration of Lands Act,
1962 (Act 123) this Instrument is
made this 17th day of August,
1995.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land marked “B”
and containing an approximate area
of 14111.390 acres situate at
Awutu in the Central Region of the
Republic of Ghana lying to and
adjoining the south eastern edge
of Winneba to Accra main lorry
road and south-west by Mile Post
18 on the said road and bounded on
the north-west by the said Winneba
to Accra main lorry road measuring
on that side 8,600 feet
approximately on the east by an
open space measuring on that side
a total distance of 11,681 feet
more or less on the South by an
open space measuring on that side
a total distance of 6,896 feet
more or less and on the west by an
open space measuring on that side
a total distance of 16,130 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated
and marked “B” on Plan No.
LD.8623A/46208 attached hereto and
thereon shewn edge pink.
Administration of Lands Act, 1962
(Awutu—Site for Settlement for
Ghana Prisons) Notice of
Occupation dated 10th day of May,
1974 is hereby revoked.
