WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is the land required in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by sub-section 1 of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
26th day of July, 1995.
The land specified in the
Schedules hereto are hereby
declared to be land required in
the public interest.
SCHEDULE “A”
ALL THAT TRIANGULAR piece of land
known as Site “A” and containing
an approximate area of 395.71
acres situate at Akuse in the Yilo
Krobo District of the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the South of Akuse Town
and partly Akuse to Asutuare main
lorry road and bounded on the
north by Akuse Town and partly the
said Akuse to Asutuare main lorry
road measuring on that side a
total distance of 9871.7 feet more
or less on the south-east by
portion of the Irrigation Project
within the Dangme West District of
the Greater Accra Region measuring
on that side 8008 feet more or
less and on the south-west by an
open space measuring on that side
a total distance of 4748.9 feet
more or less which piece of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD. 10501/82877 attached
hereto and shewn edged pink.
SCHEDULE “B”
ALL THAT piece of land known as
Site “B” and containing an
approximate area of 3314.34 acres
situate about 4000 feet south-east
of Akuse Town in the Dangme West
District of the Greater Accra
Region of the Republic of Ghana
and bounded on the north by part
of Irrigation Project land within
the Yilo Krobo District of the
Eastern Region of Ghana and an
open space measuring a total
distance of 20,874.7 feet more or
less on the east by Lamor Creek
and an open space measuring on
that side a total distance of
14,369.9 feet more or less on the
south by an open space measuring
on that side a total distance of
19,303.19 feet more or less and on
the west by an open space
measuring on that side a total
distance of 13,755.4 feet more or
less which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD.10501/82877 attached hereto
and thereon shewn edged pink.
