Presidential Election Law, 1992 (P.N.D.C.L.
285) this instrument is made this
12th day of December, 1996.

RAWLINGS, the President of Ghana
and a presidential candidate at
the Presidential and Parliamentary
Elections of Ghana held on 7th
December, 1996, having obtained
more than fifty percent of the
valid votes cast at the
Presidential Elections, was
declared elected as the PRESIDENT
of Ghana.
