WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
10th day of January, 1997.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate area of
27.59 acres situate lying and
being at Ashanti Ehwia in the
Kwabre District in the Ashanti
Region of the Republic of Ghana
lying to the East of Kumasi
Manponteng motor road and bounded
on the North-east by Adontaa
Stream and measuring on that side
total distance of 840 feet more or
less and on the South by an Open
Space measuring on that side total
1315 feet more or less on the
South-west by the said motor road
and some houses and measuring on
that side 630 feet more or less
and the North-west by an Open
space and measuring on that side
total distance of 1830 feet more
or less which piece or parcel of
land is more particularly
delineated on the Plan attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
