WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is the land required in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
24th day of September, 1997.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.

ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
known as Site for National
Electoral Commission containing an
approximate area of 0.85 acre
situate at Ho in the Ho District
in the Volta Region of the
Republic of Ghana adjoining and
lying to the North-east of Museum
bounded on the North-west partly
by open space and partly by E. P.
Press measuring a total distance
of 190 feet more or less on the
North-east by E. P. Press
measuring 220 feet more or less on
South-east partly by open space
and partly by proposed road
measuring a total distance of 180
feet more or less on the
South-West partly by open space
and partly by Museum measuring a
total distance of 260 feet more or
less which piece or parcel of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD. 10603/80009 attached
and shewn edged pink.
