WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is the land required in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by sub-section (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
15th day of August 1997.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land known as
Site for Social Security and
National Insurance Trust
containing an approximate area of
0.83 acre situate at Hohoe in the
Kpandu North District in the Volta
Region of the Republic of Ghana
adjoining and lying to the East of
Post Office-Jasikan Motor Road and
bounded on the North-east by open
space measuring 190 feet more or
less on the South-east by open
space measuring 200 feet more or
less on the South-west by existing
buildings measuring 175 feet more
or less on the North-west by the
said Post Office-Jasikan Motor
Road measuring 200 feet more or
less which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 10663/80234 hereto
attached and thereon shewn edged
pink.
