WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedules to this
Instrument is land required in the
public interest;
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
17th day of February, 1997.
The land specified in the
Schedules is declared to be land
required in the public interest.
SCHEDULES
ALL THOSE two pieces or parcels of
land marked “A” and “B” and known
as site for Government Offices and
containing an approximate total
area of 1.60 acres situate at
Tarkwa in the Wassa Fiase Mpohor
District in the Western Region of
the Republic of Ghana.
ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
marked “A” and containing an
approximate area of 0.68 acres
adjoining and lying to the
North-west of Tarkwa-Aboso Road
and to the South-east of Chamber
of Mines Offices and bounded on
the North-east partly by an
existing building and partly by an
open space and measuring a total
distance of 190 feet more or less
on the South-east partly by the
said Tarkwa-Aboso Road and partly
by an existing building and
measuring a total distance of 200
feet more or less on the
South-west by existing buildings
and measuring 190 feet more or
less on the North-West by an open
space and measuring 200 feet more
or less which piece or parcel of
land is more particularly
delineated on Plan No. LD.

ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
marked “B” containing an
approximate total area of 0.92
acre adjoining and lying to the
North-west of the Tarkwa-Aboso
Road and to the North-west of the
Roman Catholic Mission and bounded
on the North-east by an open space
and measuring 190 feet more or
less on the South-east by
Tarkwa-Aboso Road and measuring
210 feet more or less on the
South-West by an open space and
measuring 190 feet more or less on
the North-west by an open space
and measuring 210 feet more or
less which piece or parcel of land
is more particularly delineated on
Plan No. LD.9891/65670 attached
and shewn edged pink.
