WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is the land required in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection 1 of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
15th day of August 1997.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.

ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
known as site for Bank of Ghana
for Officers Bungalows containing
an approximate area of 2.25 acres
situate at Wa in the Wala District
in the Upper-west Region of the
Republic of Ghana lying to the
South-west of Lawra-Wa motor road
and bounded on the North-east by
proposed road measuring 265 feet
and 80 feet more or less on the
South-east by proposed road
measuring 280 feet more or less on
the South-west by proposed road
measuring 270 feet and 70 feet
more or less on the North-west by
Plot Nos. 58 and 49 measuring 375
feet more or less which piece or
parcel of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 10394/81739 attached and
shewn edged pink.
