WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is land required in the public
interest;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
17th day of February, 1997.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece of land known as
site for Bank of Ghana containing
an approximate area of 2.75 acres
situate at Wa in the Wala District
in the Upper West region of the
Republic of Ghana adjoining and
lying to the south of Wa-Jungu
motor road and bounded on the
north by the said Wa-Jungu motor
road measuring 410 feet more or
less on the east by Plot No.8 and
partly by Plot No. 9 measuring 260
feet more or less on the south by
proposed road measuring 445 feet
more or less on the west partly by
Plot No.2 and partly by Plot No. 3
measuring 300 feet more or less
which piece of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD. 10391/81740 hereto
attached and thereon shewn edged
pink.
