STATE LANDS—(KOFORIDUA-NSUKWAO) SITE FOR STATE HOUSING CORPORATION INSTRUMENT, 1997 (EI 1).

 

WHEREAS by Executive Instrument No. 17 dated 6th day of June, 1996 titled “STATE LANDS (KOFORIDUA NSUKWAO) SITE FOR STATE HOUSING CORPORATION” the land described in the Schedule thereto was declared by the President to be land required in the public interest:

WHEREAS the description of the land in the Schedule to the said Executive Instrument No. 17 has been found to be inaccurate.

NOW THEREFORE the said Executive Instrument No.17 is amended by the deletion of the Schedule and the substitution therefore of the following new Schedule this 10th day of January, 1997.

SCHEDULE

ALL THAT piece of land containing an approximate area of 161.74 acres situated at Nsukwao in the town of Koforidua in the New Juaben District of the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the North-west of the road leading to the Densu Intake and bounded on the North West by High Street on the North East by stool land on the South East by Government land and partly the Densu Intake road and on the South West by a Road which piece of land is more particularly delineated on Plan No. LD. 10585/74695 attached hereto and thereon shewn edged pink.

WHEREAS in the opinion of the Minister for the Interior the presence in Ghana of the persons specified in the Schedule is not conducive to the public good;

NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister for the Interior by section 13 of the Aliens Act, 1963 (Act 160) this Order is made this 23rd day of December, 1998.

The persons specified in the Schedule to this Order are hereby ordered to leave Ghana on 24th December 1998 and thereafter to remain out of Ghana.
