WHEREAS by Executive Instrument
No. 4 dated 24th day of January,
1991, titled KUMASI-KAASI—SITE FOR
STEEL COMPLEX PROJECT (VESTING)
INSTRUMENT, 1991, the lands
described in the Schedule thereto
were declared by the Provisional
National Defence Council to be
used as site for Steel Complex
Project.
WHEREAS by the decision of the
Government the land was not used
for the purpose for which it was
acquired and; the said Executive
Instrument of 1991 can no longer
be maintained;
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
4th day of February, 1999.
The land specified in the Schedule
hereto, the Kumasi-Kaasi—site for
Steel Complex Project (Vesting)
Instrument, 1991 (Executive
Instrument No. 4) dated 24th
January, 1991 is hereby revoked
and the said land released back to
the original owners.

SCHEDULE
“ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate area of
65.22 acres situate at Kumasi-Kaasi
in the city of Kumasi in the
Ashanti Region in the Republic of
Ghana lying to the South of A.G.
Timber Company and bounded on or
towards the North by Public Park
and measuring a total distance of
2,580 feet more or less on the
East by a proposed road and
measuring 1,003 feet and 60 feet
more or less on the South by a
proposed road and measuring 2,245
feet or more on or towards the
West by a proposed road and
measuring 60 feet and 1,420 feet
more or less which piece or parcel
of land is more particularly
delineated on Plan No. LD
10278/79173 hereto attached and
thereon shewn edged pink”.
