WHEREAS by Executive Instrument
No. 29 dated 26th February, 1976
STATE LANDS (ACCRA-WINNEBA
ROAD—SITE FOR CHRISTIAN METHODIST
SECONDARY SCHOOL) INSTRUMENT, 1976
the land described in the schedule
thereto comprising an approximate
area of 246.82 Acres was declared
by the Supreme Military Council as
land required in the public
interest.
AND WHEREAS about 135.32 Acres of
the said land has been encroached
upon and cannot be used for the
public purpose for which it was
acquired.
AND WHEREAS it has become
necessary to amend the said
Executive Instrument to exclude
the area encroached upon.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of section 1 of
the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125), this Instrument is made this
30th day of August, 2001.
The State Lands (Accra-Winneba
Road - Site for Christian
Methodist Secondary School)
Instrument, 1976 (E.I. 29) is
hereby amended by the substitution
for the land described in the
schedule thereto of the land
described in the schedule
hereunder.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
known as site for Christian
Methodist Secondary School
containing an approximate area of
111.50 acres situate at Accra-Winneba
Road in the Greater Accra Region
of the Republic of Ghana adjoining
and lying to the West of Bortianor
Motor Road and bounded on the
North-west by Open Space measuring
a total distance of 2449.3 feet
more or less on or towards the
East by the said Bortianor Motor
Road measuring a total distance of
2553.1 feet more or less on the
South-east by open space measuring
a total distance of 1618.1 feet
more or less and on or towards the
West by Open Space measuring a
total distance of 2590.6 feet more
or less which piece or parcel of
land is more particularly
delineated on Plan No. LD.
