WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by sub-section (1) of section (1)
of the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
8th day of May, 2001.
The land specified in the schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.

ALL THAT piece or parcel of land
known as site for Yilo Krobo
Secondary Commercial School
situate at Somanya in the Yilo
Krobo District in the Eastern
Region of the Republic of Ghana
bounded on or towards the north by
the District Education Office and
Open Space respectively measuring
a total distance of 2220 feet more
or less on or towards the east by
Open Space and the Sra
Presbyterian School and measuring
a total distance of 1470 feet more
or less on or towards the south by
the said Sra Presbyterian School
and Open Space respectively and
measuring a total distance of 2460
feet more or less on or towards
the west by Open Space and
District Education Bungalow
respectively and measuring a total
distance of 1760 feet more or less
and containing an approximate area
of 64.57 acres which piece or
parcel of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. L.C. 74/7149 hereto attached
and thereon shewn edged pink.
