IN exercise of the powers
conferred on the President by

Local Government Act, 1993 (Act
462) this Instrument is made this
15th day of December, 2003.
Section 1—Upgrading of West
Dagomba District Assembly.
The West Dagomba District Assembly
set up by the Local Government
(West Dagomba District Assembly)
(Establishment) Instrument (L.I.
1453) is hereby upgraded to the
status of a Metropolitan Assembly.
Section 2—Area of Authority.
The areas specified in column 1 of
the Schedule shall constitute the
area of authority of the Assembly
with the name specified in column
2.
