WHEREAS under Section 2 of the
Public Holidays Act, 2001 (Act
601) the President may by
Executive Instrument declare as a
public holiday a day other than
the days specified as statutory
Public Holidays under the Act.
WHEREAS March 6th 2004,
Independence Day, falls on
Saturday.
AND WHEREAS the President
considers that Monday, 8th of
March, 2004 be declared as a
Public Holiday.
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by Section 2 of the Public
Holidays Act, 2001 (Act 601) this
instrument is made this 2nd day of
March, 2004.
Monday the 8th of March, 2004 is
hereby declared a Public Holiday.
