WHEREAS by an Executive
Instrument, the State Lands
(Accra-Nungua Otinshie-Site for
Scientific Instrumentation Centre)
Instrument, 1978 (E.I. 17) the
land described in the Schedule
which comprises an approximate
area of 412.60 acres was declared
by the Supreme Military Council as
land required in the public
interest;
AND WHEREAS portions of the said
land have been encroached upon and
the entire land cannot be used for
the purpose for which it was
acquired;
AND WHEREAS it has become
necessary to amend the said
Executive Instrument to exclude
the area or portion of the land
encroached upon;
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by subsection (1) of the section 1
of the State Lands Act, 1962 (Act
125) this Instrument is made this
1st day of June, 2004.
Schedule to E.I. 17/78 Amended.
The Schedule to the State Lands
(Accra-Nungua Otinshie-Site for
Scientific Instrumentation Centre
Instrument 1978 (E.I. 17) is
hereby amended by the substitution
for the land specified in the
Schedule to that Instrument of the
land described in the Schedule to
this Instrument.
SCHEDULE
All that piece or parcel of land
containing an approximate Area of
50.00 Acres situate at Nungua
Otinshie in the city of Accra in
the Greater Accra Region of the
Republic of Ghana and bounded on
the North by un-numbered plots; on
the East by un-numbered plots: on
the South by proposed road and on
the West by proposed road which
piece or parcel of land is more
particularly delineated on Plan
No. LD 9170A/AC 8408 attached
hereto and thereon shewn edged
pink.
