STATE LANDS (STATUTORY WAYLEAVES) (ACHIMOTA INTERCHANGE) (EI 15).

 

 

WHEREAS it appears to the President that the land specified in the Schedule to this instrument is land required in the public interest;

NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred on the President by subsection (1) of section 1 of the Lands (Statutory Wayleaves) Act, 1963 (Act 186), this Instrument is made this 31st day of August, 2004.

The land specified in the Schedule to this Instrument is hereby declared to be land required in the public interest.

SCHEDULE

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing a total area of 17.85 acres, distributed as follows:—

SITE ‘A’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 6.38 acres situated in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the South-West of Accra Nsawam Road and bounded on the North-East by an open space and buildings and on the South-East by an open space and on the South-West by buildings which piece of land is more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.

SITE ‘B’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 1.64 acres situated in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana adjoining and lying to the South-West of Accra Nsawam Motor Road and bounded on the North-East by Accra Nsawam Motor Road and East by an open space and the South-West by buildings and North-West by buildings and North-West by an open space which is delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.

SITE ‘C’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 5.86 acres situated in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana adjoining and lying to the North-East of Nsawam Motor Road and bounded on the North-East by an open space and the South by buildings on the South-West by the said Accra-Nsawam Motor Road and North-West by open space which piece of land is more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.

SITE ‘D’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 4.88 acres situated in Achimota in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana lying among buildings and bounded on the North-East by buildings on the South-West by buildings and the Nsawam Road and on the North-West by Nsawam Road, which piece of land is more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.

SITE ‘E’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 2.91 acres situated in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana lying to the East of Ghana Railway line and bounded on the North by Achimota Road and on the South by buildings and an open space and on the South-West by Achimota Road which piece of land is more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.

SITE ‘F’

ALL THAT PIECE OR PARCEL of land known as site affected by the Achimota Interchange Urban Roads and containing an approximate area of 2.18 acres situated in the city of Accra in the Greater Accra Region of the Republic of Ghana bounded on the North by an open space and on the North-East by the Nsawam Road and on the South-East by Nsawam Road and open space and the South-West by buildings and an open space which piece of land is more particularly delineated on the Plan No. LCS/GAR 485/AC 9244.
