WHEREAS Sunday, 6th March 2005
(Independence Day) is a Statutory
Public Holiday.
WHEREAS Monday, 7th March 2005 is
not a Statutory Public Holiday.
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
under Section 3 of the Public
Holidays Act, 2001 (Act 601) the
President being satisfied that it
would be inexpedient for Sunday,
6th March 2005 to be observed as a
Public Holiday makes this
instrument this 1st day of March,
2005 to declare Monday, 7th of
March 2005 to be observed as a
Public Holiday instead of 6th
March, 2005.
