WHEREAS it appears to the
President that the Land described
in the Schedule to this Instrument
is land required in the public
interest.
NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
by sub-section 1 of section 1 of
State Lands Act, 1962 (Act 125).
This Instrument is made this 18th
day of February, 2005.
The land specified in the schedule
hereto is hereby declared to be
land required in the public
interest.
SCHEDULE
ALL THAT PIECE OF LAND known as
Site for Volta River Authority (Takoradi
Thermal Project) containing an
approximate area of 421.18 acres
(170.44 hectares) and situate at
Aboadze in the Shama Ahanta East
Metropolitan area in the Western
Region of the Republic of Ghana
bounded on the North by Open Space
and measuring a total distance of
3097.2 feet more or less on the
East by Open Space measuring a
total distance of 5785.7 feet more
or less on the South by the Gulf
of Guinea measuring a total
distance of 3107.9 feet more or
less on the West by Open Space
measuring a total distance of
6039.4 feet more or less as the
same piece of land is more
particularly delineated by the
Plan No. LC 88/83766 attached
hereto and thereon shown edged
pink.
