WHEREAS Saturday the 25th of May
2002, is to be observed as a
statutory public holiday "Africa
Day";
NOW THEREFORE in exercise of the
powers conferred on the President
under section 3 of the Public
Holidays Act, 2001 (Act 601), the
President being satisfied that it
would be inexpedient for Saturday
the 25th May, 2002 to be observed
as a public holiday, makes this
Instrument this 23rd day of May,
2002.
Monday the 27th of May, 2002 is
declared a public holiday.
